Hackett new ranges in York

n 1979 Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings founded a partnership rooted within their love of traditional British men’s clothing. Three decades later amidst the growth of an internationally renowned clothing brand,HACKETT has become a mainstay in the vernacular of fashion aficionados the world around. Upholding to the brand’s tenet for traditional British wear, Hackett’s Spring / Summer 2011 collection presents a versatile selection comprised of classic suits, polos, chinos, jeans, and shorts in a number of variations for the upcoming season. Always impressive to see brands who maintain a devotion to timeless fashion rather than pandering to fads of the moment.

With the versatility of being able to be worn with chinos, jeans as well as shorts, the polo shirt (in this case the Hackett polo) should have a special place in the Spring/Summer wardrobe of men everywhere.

I have decided since the selection is particularly admirable this season, I would show off the Hackett polo shirt in as many permutations as I felt necessary to adequately represent the Spring/Summer offering (and there are still some I haven’t shown!).
